In 2013, Daniela, Geoff, and I set out to change this little corner of the animal world in our own small way.  Our, “wouldn’t it be wonderful if…” dreams were bright balloons tethered by strings of, “what can we accomplish today?”  That’s life, right?  Dream big, set realistic goals, and a pinch of good luck never hurts.

Dr. Rosie Gilbert is owner and veterinarian at Viking Veterinary Care, a unique practice that provides progressive treatments – like stem cell treatment and physical therapy – in a fear-free environment. Dr. Gilbert has been a long-time supporter of the Animal Community Talks program, and we wanted to sit down with her and learn more about her work.

Coexist Canine Coaching's Katelin MacNair, CPDT-KA, is an active member of the Portland animal training community, along with being an avid learner and Animal Community Talks  event attendee. We recently sat down with MacNair to learn more about her interesting past with animals and her plans for the future.
